About Our Founder Some people are leaders and some are followers. Marsha Heidbrink was a leader. She pioneered bringing the visual arts to the forefront of the Bowling Green arts community. Having served first at the WKU galleries, she continued her mission of teaching and exhibiting quality contemporary art at the Capitol Arts galleries for a number of years. While Gallery Director at the Capitol, Marsha started the World’s Greatest Studio Tour and Art Sale, a weekend of open studios and work spaces to which the public is invited.  The annual event is in its twenty-second year.  Marsha was a quiet force for expanding the visual arts in, and for, the community.  She was a friend, a trailblazer, an educator and a wonderfully creative artist.  Thank you, Marsha!

Marsha lost her battle with cancer in 2011.
